The Help system at present supplies the majority of Home Accounting's documentation. You can get general Help by selecting Help from the Windows menu. If there is a front window (not a floating window), the Help system will show help about that window. Otherwise, help on Help will be displayed.
In various windows I use multiple views (Preferences, DB Preferences, and the Register). In these windows you will see a small question mark button. Click this button to display help on that specific view (or function).
Reporting Bugs, Feature Requests or Modifications:
In the package is a text file, HA Bug List and Status. This list keeps you informed and me organized. This file lists the bug/status history of the current version of Home Accounting (a4). These entries are basically made by myself, testers and now users. They also include source references from other programmers.
Also in the package is another text file, Bug Report Sample Sheet. If you would like to submit a bug report, feature request or a suggestion, then make a copy of this file for each submission. In the file there are instructions for filling it out.
The best way to send your files is electronically, either to my internet address or my AOL account. But, I accept them any way they are sent except collect.
What's Next:
The next release of Home Accounting is a little up in the air. It will most likely be 1.0.0a4p3 c3 since I have just received the CPX 1.3 and the PowerPC compiler for CPX. The 1.0.0a4 c? release will include many changes.
